About The PACE Group

A group of concerned parents have formed PACE – Parents And Choice Education; the group consists of both work-at-home moms and dads, as well as doctors, teachers, lawyers, engineers, and law enforcement officers, to name a few.

We are passionately pursuing our mission which is located the bottom of the page.

The short-term objectives of PACE:

1. to reinstate the traditional and honors math tracks, including 8th grade algebra, by the 04/05 school year (in progress)
2. to provide a means for parents to be involved in determining, NOT dictating, the curricula that best services the needs of ALL students
3. to provide a means to inform all parents within the CVS district of intended curriculum and other academic changes

We welcome and encourage parents to become involved in the pursuit of our short term objectives.

We welcome and encourage parents to become involved in the development of our long-term objectives, which will be evaluated and prioritized according to the dynamic needs of our rapidly growing district.

PACE and school board members have become emotional at school board meetings.
